The company has carried out extensive testing on the Cocoon material in conjunction with the University of Florence, the University of Venice, Edilvenezia Venice, and the Instituto Per La Conservazione E La Valorizzazione Dei Beni Culturali (ICVBC) Florence, Italy. Westox products are currently being sold in several countries and the “Cocoon” desalination material, which is featured in the Australian Technology Show case has proved to be beneficial on many well known heritage buildings around the world, these include the Duomo, Pisa, St Marks Basilica Venice, Palazza Minotto Venice, Italy. The Glasmuseum, Quedlinburg Castle and Schloss Sanssouci, Germany, The Governors Mansion, Suffolk House and the Old Court House, Penang Malaysia, Fort Denison, St Mary’s Cathedral and many other well known heritage properties in Australia to name a few. Westox continue to develop and refine products and systems for the conservation of heritage artifacts and look forward to being able to pass on knowledge and contribute to the preservation of heritage items throughout the world.
